Receptek’ interpreted Architects ‘Alexi Marmot Associates’ conceptual designs and turned them into reality for the innovative interior of the University’s visually stunning Commons building which was opened on 5th July 2014 by President of the Film Distributors’ Association, Lord Puttnam CBE.
Designers Comment
“On paper, the banquet/study POD seating installation looked enormous. Indeed it was enormous! But, in the esh, it is in fact incredibly elegant. The installation comprises four 6-person study tables with interactive monitors controlled from the worktop via a ush-mounted media point. On one side are the four 6-person study PODs with dining huddles to the other side and a recycle bay at each end. This is a real centrepiece for the whole project.”
